Section 05

B2B Prospecting Data

A core part of our business involves researching and building B2B contact data on behalf of our clients. This section explains how we handle that data.

DataZen Global researches and compiles business contact information — including professional names, job titles, business email addresses, direct phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles, and company information — for use in legitimate B2B outreach campaigns.

All B2B contact data we process is:

  • Sourced from publicly available professional sources including LinkedIn, company websites, and business directories
  • Collected for business-to-business marketing purposes only — not for consumer marketing
  • Processed under the legitimate interests basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) applicable to B2B marketing
  • Subject to suppression requests — if you are a contact who does not wish to be included in B2B outreach, you may contact us at hello@datazenglobal.com to request removal

We do not collect or process sensitive personal data (special category data under GDPR Art. 9) as part of our B2B data services.

Section 06

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use third-party tools (including Formspree for form handling, Google Analytics for web analytics, and email delivery platforms) that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Client delivery: Where you are an end-client, your data may be shared with the client who engaged our services if you are a target contact, in the context of their B2B outreach.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required to do so by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
Section 07

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations:

  • Enquiry and contact form data: up to 24 months from last contact
  • Client engagement data: for the duration of the engagement plus 5 years (for contractual and accounting purposes)
  • B2B prospect data compiled for campaigns: retained for the duration of the campaign and up to 12 months thereafter, subject to suppression requests
  • Website analytics data: per the retention settings of our analytics tool (typically 26 months)

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Section 08

Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") where there is no overriding legal basis for retention
  • Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing
  • Withdrawal of consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@datazenglobal.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Section 09

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to improve performance and understand how visitors use the site.

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Necessary for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: Used to understand site usage via Google Analytics. Data is anonymised. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google Analytics opt-out tools.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) across all web properties
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorised team members only

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at hello@datazenglobal.com.

Section 11

International Data Transfers
